Are you implying that time is a causal agent? Because that is far from truth. Best example would be application of 2nd law of thermodynamics. Take an isolated system a box, and leave it forever, nothing will happen to it and entropy will remain constant.
Also "us" is someone but then you say "someone" can't make things happen. You are contradicting your self there.
