I was just confused because I had always thought you were a girl, until someone referred to you using "he". Then I thought you were a gay guy.

But yeah, I believe what RJ had to say about all the methane. It seems logical to me.

There are plenty of methane ice underneath the ocean, so having a bit of methane gas within the ocean isn't unusual.

Some of the very first documentations of the Bermuda seems to concur with this fact; the recurring "moving/dancing lights/flame within the triangle" in most logs are consistent with the theory of an abundance of methane within the immediate area; the gas escaping from the water can easily distort distant images/refract light, in most cases this is how mirages are formed anyway...

Despite the fact that this is all theory anyway, a number of other things are not accounted for, such as why pilots often report an incompetency to navigate within the triangle, why no distress calls are ever made (by those who really, actually disappeared)... but these can be discounted as exaggerated rumors.

Above all else, the triangle doesn't actually boast a large amount of incidents considering the frequency of boats and planes traveling through the area...

The real mystery is why people actually believe there's anything supernatural behind the triangle... it's just exploited by the media for easy attention.

The most logical answer to the misterious disappearance of flight 19 is that when their instruments went skitzo they had no idea where they were going. One of the pilots new they had to go west but they continued flying east (which they did not know) out into the ocean until their fuel ran out and they fell into the sea like a bag of rocks. Although they could have ditched?

No it isn't; not all planes that pass through who experienced problems had piston engines (which probably explains why they made it?) and it doesn't actually explain why their flight equipment went haywire; methane gas doesn't break your equipment, it just make piston engines stall as far as I know.

Also, flight 19 were full incompetent pilots who couldn't tell the difference between East and West without a bloody compass... the real mystery was why they were ever allowed to fly in the first place.

Fwank's got it spot on.

I also heard the triangle has a large quantity of whirlpools and twisters. Of course, considering the facts, I very much doubt that that's the whole truth.

I'm kind of doubting the theory of aliens and stuff like that but the methane theory is definitely plausible and I think that is the reason for these disappearances because the gas can affect sea and air vehicles.

It is possible aircraft are effected by electrical currents in the air which would effect electrical equipment and the compass. Also compasses don't point to true north EVER. They only point to the magnetic north.

There have been a few survivors, from what I've heard, actually. But they were supopsedly terribly shaken up about everything.

On 19-Nov-2007 Youkou said:RJ Fighter, then explain how ships are undamaged and are found with no sign of life or dead bodies on it and things looked as if they where vaporized where they stood, laying or sit?

And I moved this to General Chat instead.
Lets just put it this way in a simplistic, but quite vague term.
The Bermuda Triangle is true as RJ explained, albeit perhaps a bit too much for some. Think of it like a whirlpool in the water or a black hole kind of thing. It gets sucked in and so on so forth with gravity's pull.

i think i know! if its pulled to magnetic north maybe in the bermuda triangle IS magnetic north!does anyone agree? because it would explain the compasses going haywire and the magnetic force might have screwed up the electricity on the radio which would stop them making distress calls! so anyone agree?

Partially right considering it is possible to have your compass magnetised to South.
Also when you cross the Equator you change the direction of which water revolves when it goes through a funnel or similar.
In addition I did say above it's like a black hole or rather similar to it. Things get sucked in and there is this great gravitational pull.

I highly doubt that, how could an imaginary triangle be Earth's main gravity centre? If you went to school you'd know it's because of the Earth's orbit around the Sun.
And to be honest I fully agree with Fwank and Volke here.
