The rumour I heard was that Barcelona are offering Eto as bait for Liverpool?s Argentine defensive midfielder Javier Mascherano.

Well that would be great for Barca if Yaya Toure leave for Man United. Mascherano will get his place. It would be a great scenario for Barca to have Henry, Ibrahimovic as the best strikers with Messi next to them and Mascherano to defend the midfield.

I can't see Liverpool letting Mascherano go to Barcelona as he compliments Gerard perfectly allowing him to be an attacking Midfielder.

I know that almost impossible but it would be great for Barca if it happens. Anyway AC Milan is negotiating with Mutu from Fiorentina to come at Milano.

I remember when Mutu played for Chelsea and cost them ?29.4 million. I wasn't impressed with him, he scored only 6 goals in 27 games during his stay at Stamford Bridge.

I think Benayoun is more likely to go to Barcelona than Mascherano.

I cant belive that Spain lost from the States in the Confederation Cup semi final. Hope Brasil wont surprise us too and loose from South Africa.

I think Real Madrid are going to need more than a couple of new players to win the Spanish Liga next year because Barcelona play as a team and will be looked upon in years to come as one of the best ever.

Real are making their team based on players and not on team work, i belive that next year Real will go even worse than this year.

I don't know if they will be worse, but considering all of their good players are first timers at Madrid, I don't think they will win La Liga.

Buying a few players who are talented superstars won't win championships for Real Madrid, playing as a team does. Barcelona will win the La Liga again next year and the year after.

Looks like Ibrahimovic and Eto'o are going to swap. Inter Milan sends Ibrahimovic to Barcelona and gets Samuel Eto'o, 40 million Euros, and Alexander Hleb on loan for a year.

Keep in mind Eto'o can walk for free at the end of the year if he wants, so it's a decent trade.

He is pretty good, about as effective as Eto'o.

If that's the case he may be even better than Eto with the talent Barcleona have playing around him. Have Manchester United done the right thing signing Michael Owen or are his best days behind him?
