What happened to Barcelona? They lost to Inter Milan 3-1 and Messi was played out of the game. If Barcelona don't win at least 3-0 they are out of the competition.

Actually a 2-0 win would be enough to see them through as they have the away goal. I didn't get to watch the match but I would have imagined the fact that they had to take a bus to Italy wouldn't have helped.

Should be an interesting game next week as Jose Mourino specialises in closing teams down when he has a comfortable lead. I bet Chelsea are sorry they got rid of him.

Bayern beat Lyon 1-0 at the Allianz Arena, could easily have been by more had they taken their chances. Great goal from Robben. The return leg of that game should also be pretty interesting, especially as Bayern won't have Ribery and Pranjic, and Lyon will be without Toulalan.

It's gonna be pretty difficult to keep Bayern scoreless I feel. Lyon definitely have a difficult task as they need to score but can't afford to give up the away goal.

I can't see Lyon beating Bayern, they've got too many quality players. Looks like it could be a Bayern v Inter Milan final final this year but don't count out Barcelona as their manager has ordered the groundskeeper to water the pitch at the Nou Camp to make play faster which will favour Barcelona considerably as it will suit their style of play.

Looks like Jose Mourino will become the most sought after manager if his Inter Milan beat Bayern Munich, there's already talk of him coming back to England to manage Manchester United when Ferguson retires.

Why would he leave a team with which he's having success with. It'll disappoint the fans of Inter, no doubt.

I see Ferguson is upset Manchester United have to play after the Chelsea v Wigan game. I think Ferguson is correct when he says both the Chelsea and Manchester United games should be played at the same time so the outcome of the Premiership is still in the balance until both games have finished.

Chelsea have won the Premiership, they destroyed Wigan in the final game of the season so Manchester United had no chance of catching them.

I was watching the United game, seemed like every ten minutes news came through that Chelsea had scored again. It's a weird feeling winning the game but knowing that it's all in vain.
