Hey can anyone here help me with the guy in pokemon pearl so that he will extract the DNA from the fossils i find it says he can't yet. help me plz

Well, firstly see whether the have a fossil things such as rare bones don't count it has to be a fossil such as helix or amber etc. Then go to the guy in the city where you battle the rock gym leader. In the top corner there is a building, enter there and speak to the man, go outside and come back in and pick up your pokemon, that what you needed?
