would you say they were better when they first started(the screamo CD's sounding the 7th trumpet and waking the fallen), or now their newer cd's(city of evil, avenged sevenfold), i think i like them more now because they just sound better to me, like my favorite song by them is a little piece of heaven, love it.

I love their new songs, and I'm not very keen on their old ones. My favourite would probably be Afterlife, but on the music channel I watch (Scuzz), they've cut 2 minutes out of the song, so I can only watch it on YouTube.
To sum it up, in my opinion:
Old = Failed
New = Great

I like both their screamo work, and their newer work. Unholy Confessions was awesome, when they played live, I Won't See You Tonight Part Two was awesome, too. I just like all of their music.

I like all their music too. But my fav. CD's of their's is City of Evil and their newest CD. I have both
