Don't act like you didn't miss me.
Moving on, I'm pretty sure I had a "Final" Tournament some time ago, but I lied, this time final really means I'm done pestering you with my silly games after this. I haven't been good
at this, one of the reasons I'm doing it, to improve my writing, which is a skill I'm working to improve on. And since there are some pretty great, yet highly critical, writers on this forum, I decided to make a last stand here. But before I get started, I'll lay down some rules and guidelines:
Rules
1. Voting decides a match. Your vote counts.
2. Judging a match will be done on a scale of 1.0 to 10.0, 1 being the lowest, ten being the highest, naturally.
3. Don't just give a score, explain the reason for it, what needed improvement, and what you liked.
4. The below Question Marks signify a spot where a character is to be elected. Instead of voting for the winner in a ?????? match, vote for who you want to fight, and once a fighter is designated, vote for who you expect to win.
5. Should it be deemed necessary by popular demand, match-ups may be changed to suit reader preferences.
6. Input is wanted. Express what powers/skills you want to see a contender exhibit during the tournament. They may be included.
7. Unlike my previous tournaments, instead of working in a cheesy backstory, it's just going to be the tournament. Behind the scenes interactions may occur before a match, but no major story will be inputted, unless, unexpectedly, fans want one.
8. It is unlikely, but should a character be almost unanimously despised by readers, he may be taken out and replaced by an elected replacement, in a manner similar to the ??????'s.
9. For fun, you can put a Roleplay character of yours into the tournament as a fan, or, if allowed, a judge. Don't interfere with character's fates (i.e. Don't have your self-made character attack a competitor). Interactions with competitors will be allowed, such as an acknowledging nod, a conversation, or riticule, should you dislike a character.
That about covers it, and now, on to our setting. All fights will take place in a large coliseum, similar to those of Roman origin. Fighters will compete on a sand-covered arena floor, with audience members watching on. When competitors are not fighting, they will be in their quarters, inside the coliseum, but away from the action. A match will start when the announcer says "Fight!" and will end when a fighter is killed, rendered unconscious, or fails to get up after a ten-second countdown. A tie-match will result in a refight some time later.
And finally, your fighters, for now, at least:
North Wing
1. Meta-Knight vs. Riku
2. Saren Arturius vs. Shadow the Hedgehog
3. Link vs. Tidus
4. Kratos vs. ??????
5. ?????? vs. ??????
6. Sora vs. Urdnot Wrex
7. Sonic the Hedgehog vs. Pit
8. Dante vs. Ganondorf
South Wing
1. Solid Snake vs. Gordon Freeman
2. ?????? vs. Sephiroth
3. Samus Aran vs. Squall Leonhart
4. John- 117 vs. ??????
5. Mario vs. Fox McCloud
6. Silver the Hedgehog vs. Mega Man
7. Cloud Strife vs. ??????
8. Wario vs. Bowser
Should you not know who a character is, you could easily research them on a site such as google or wikipedia.
