What do I have to do here? I have done it over and over, but have never beat it. I'm usually down to 1 pikman after a little while of attackign the other characters. Is there anyway to get them back?

Yes, just press B, it will pluck a Pikmin out of the ground. You can get up to 6 pikmin this way. And if one dies, you can pluck another one. Essentially, You have unlimited pikmin, but only 6 can be on the screen at once. Just pluck 6 out at the start of the match and keep away from the other characters for about a minute. The flowers will sprout. It's actually a really easy event when ya know what to do. Good luck =p!!

Your supposed to get all the flowers to sprout. All you really need to do is run around like crazy, attempting your best not to get hit, but make sure you keep an eye on your Pikmin, making sure you constantly have all 6. I didn't know what to do either, but I randomly got success, so I'm happy.
