Sonic, what do you think of him?

Say what you think of sonic. Was he a good choice? Could he use better moves? is he too fast? too weak? Or should they have put in tails or shadow?
Give your opinion.

Honestly, i think sonic's move are too similar and basically do the same damage, they could have expanded on his moveset. Like maybe have tails as a partner character, like ice climbers. Or change up his smash attacks(still all way to similar).

Yeah, sonic is good, but his attacks are weak, and his moveset is all way to similar.

Sonic has weak attacks, but he's really fast. And is Final Smash is destructive.

He's really boring in my opinion. All he does is spin around.

I like him, he's quite fast an' his attacks are good ta use. His FS is kinda hard ta control but it does unload major damage. If ya know how ta use him he's a good fit. Although they should've put Tails an' Shadow in as characters along with Sonic.

I like playing with sonic because he is fun, but im not really great with him, however ive played guys that are really good with him, i think he is a middle tier charicter, and fun.

I has a good combo style. My fave character. Sonic and I kick major butty!!!!

My favorite character is sonic. I am AMAZING as far as combos come with him! I can deal 60% combos, very easily if I get someone in the right position. And one of the best parts are, that I'm so quick with him... it usually takes someone 'till 20-30seconds before they lay a finger on me.

The whole point of Sonic is speed, which is why heavy weight characters fail against him. Just becuase his attacks are weak, doesn't mean he can't smash someone out.

Love sonic really fast and i have always liked speed characters and his combos are pretty cool as well he is my best character. my brother has not beaten me once yet

He's not a fighting type. There was no reason to put him in the game. The only reason he isn't my least favorite character in that game is because there are more annoying ones. He can also Dair after recovery.

If you were to take some character out, and put one character in of your choice (that nintendo CAN put in), who would it be?

For me, it would have to be zant, from TP.

Zant would be nice. I'm incredibly biased, and would put another Fire Emblem character in. Probably Ashnard or the Black Knight. Black Knight's final Smash would be Luna, and Ashnard's could be the dragon.

In my opinion, I think that sonic is an ok character... But you also have to remember that sonic was one of the reasons why SSBB got delayed a lot and that also explains why you see sonic in SSE at the very end. So ya, they could have done much better with sonic, if they had more time.

Sonic was the most wanted character for the Smash Series. I like his Final Smash alot too. I would've put in Megaman, Wolf Link, some more Konami and Sega characters. Ibet they'll come in the next game if Nintendo decides to bring one out.

Bomberman from... Bomberman.

I like sonic hes fast and his side air is great for bosses.

I'm good with Sonic and his attacks are pretty good, I have discovered that his spring will do damage when falling and I know that may not sound great but it is pretty useful if you know how.

I like using Sonic at first he was meh when using him
seeing as his moves seemed the same but he has a Spin Dash,
which is different then his Spin Charge.

Homing Attack:
Sonic spins into the Air, locks on to an opponent, and swiftly
dishes out a spin attack towards them. Against a single opponent,
this attack is fairly telegraphed, but when multiple
opponents are battling, it's difficult ti tell where Sonic will
strike next.Sonic will not inflict any damage until he reaches
the peak of his jump.

Spin Dash:
The Spin Dash & Spin Charge are fairly similar.
The main difference with the Spin Dash is that you can move vertically
during the attack, leading to the potential combos.
Charge the Spin Dash by holding the Special Move button, and change
direction during the attack with the analog stick or D-pad (depending on the controller).

Spring Jump:
Sonic's recovery move allows him to reach great heights, but it has
minimal horizontal range.If performed on a platform, the spring
remains for a short time, allowing other players to use it as well.
Sonic infilicts no damge on his opponents when using his special move,unless he uses it right above his opponent,doing a small amount
of damage.

Spin Charge:
The Spin Charge is basically the same thing as the Spin Dash except
that Sonic remains on the ground throughout the attack's duration.
It's also slightly faster then the Spin Dash and can be canceled by releasing the Special Move button.

Final Smash:Super Sonic
Sonic's Final Smash transforms him into Super Sonic.
His already blistering speed increases even more in this state.
He can't take any damage from opponents, and he inflicts damage
on his foes based on his speed: the longer you move in a single
direction, the faster Sonic gets and the harder he hits.This Final
Smash has a high potential to KO if you can control Sonic well.
Stay on the same horizontal plane and move back and forth across
the stage for best results.

Alright, you people who think sonic had no point of being in the game...

Think about his combos. I'll display two. spin dash, hit a foe before hitting the ground and traveling a while before the spindash stops, up a, jump, up a, spring jump, up a, knock out. or down a, for a speedy recover downwards towards someone who wants to ko you. you'll also probably hit whoever you were combo crazy on.

Spin charge, Spin dash, press a right before you hit a character, press a again,if you're headed to the left press right a, to the right press left a, spring jump, down a.

There you go. If you get someone into these comboes it does major damage. And if you don't like Sonic and see these comboes work nicely for you, you'll probably change your opinion.
