torchic because combusken is one of my favorites (yes, i didnt evolve it, get over it)
;p i ended up at the league with combusken, skamory, anorith and crobat.
and on diamond, i chose piplup, because i knew its evolution was a steel type

Well I chose mudkip, well because hes the best he has no probs taken out treeko, due to his ability to use ice beam.

but mudkip is also water so a grass move such as leaf blade and treekos speed takes it out quickly and also mudkip is a rock type i think

Yes but mudkip because of his ice moves, and because hes water he can endure moves than a grass type so a super effective move becomes a critical hit which is why hes my best starter.

Yes but it depends on your starter, i mean i could have a mudkip that quicker than a treeko, while you have a slow treeko but a high attack power, if you want to talk about whos the best starter and more choosen than its mudkip.

omg, sceptile beats swampert, end of. leaf blade is x4 super effective.
ONLY if swampert got lucky with focus band, and used mirror coat, then and only then, swampert would win.

if quick claw was used as well and got first strike wich has happened to me before but still it is lucky and skeptile has high speed

well, a swampert ice beam wouldnt do much, because of its low special attack, and sceptile has a decent special defense.

I would have to say treeko because graas types can get pretty powerful but then if i had to i would chose torchic cause he can kick ***
