Preferred formation?

What formation do you play with the most?

In Manager Mode, I always use 4-4-2.

I tend to use 4-4-2 (defensive)or 4-3-3 (offensive).

Almost always 4-3-2-1 or simply 4-3-3

I like 4-4-2 the best though it defends you but you can also attack very easily.

I tried but its not very good for me, i just love to keep atacking...

I like keeping safe with an awesome defense.

4-2-1-2-1

Your 4 defenders, 2 defensive midfielders. You'll concede minimal amount of goals.

2 Wide midfielders, whipping in crosses for your lethal striker up front.

This formation works wonders online. Unfamiliarness for opponents.

I have never played Fifa online but ill try the formation.

I tried it before but it didn't work for me.

All depends on your style of play, to be honest.

If you like the long ball system, this is not for you.

Hmm i like to just chuck it up there and then give it to the wings and go in for a cross. But when i tried it i was mainly doing long shots.

I love atack in any circunstance but specially go trought the wings and then shot or cross so i dont mind.

Well i mainly do crossews but i do little bit of everything.

Yeah s long as i have a capabl player.

Yeah thats why most of the top teams only have 2 atackers

I like having 2 players up front and then a few to cross it to then so i like 4-4-2

I tried a new formation, yesterday, for 3 matches online. I'm the team on the left.

Brighton 2 Nottingham Forest 0
Everton 3 Liverpool 0
Newcastle 2 Arsenal 1

As you see, I only conceding 1 goal, in all 3 games, with an inferior team.

I played 5-3-2, and I basically just hit the opponents on the counter. The only different story, was the Everton match, where I completely dominated possession, scoring an Andy Johnson hat trick. This formation really does limit the chances on offer to the opposition.

I'd reccomend this, for away games against superior opposition.
