yea but u should try some tuts first if u begin..and then mix some techniques together for ur own style...but some ppl might just go directly to their own style if their creative enough.

like what. i tried this 1 and it was using a brush that i did not have and also on deviant art it gave me brush pics like of how the strokes look
All my tinypic links died :(

Well, try not to sue brushes for backgrounds. It's generally thought of as an easy way out, and it really takes no skill to do so.
