http://www.serebii.net/ssbb/masterpieces.shtml if u look at the masterpieces there is 2 masterpeices that are in the japan game only
Also the 2 masterpieces are FE:Mystery of the Emblem and Earthbound

Well, the Original FE was a Japan only release.
Not sure about Mother, but i think it is Japan only?
Maybe they like having exclusive content?
