Oh ok well the Zodiac Job Edition is a perfect example of this they added a lot of extra feature that were not in the original such as new game plus, choosing a job and controlling espers.

Yeah you can do that with at least one character but you have no choice to use it for the others.

not really I occasionally tried without gambits and it made the game seem a little bit harder but also alot more fun

There are certain boss fights where you will need to use them on some of the characters or you're not going to win.

I like the gambit system in a way...
But I hate it when all of a sudden it Uses random gambits...
Like the way you have to do it in order just to make perfect strikes but is sometimes boring arranging and assigning them...But I've used gambits a lot of times to beat powerful bosses without lifting a finger...

Exactly they should have left that side of things the way it was in previous games and have that with real time.

I know but what I meant is because of the way they did the fights it would be very difficult if you had them turned off for all the characters.
