How exactly do I pull it off. It says press the R1 button, but when do I press it? Also, in a normal battle, how do you use the gun part of his blade?

The gun part of the blade can't be used as a long-range attack. It's really more of a boost for the main attack.

In normal battles, you hit R1 as soon as the blade makes contact with the enemy.

During the limit break, you hit it each time the line goes into the box (in other words, each time the blade hits the enemy)

Exactly there is also a gauge when you are using Renzokuken to tell you when to press R1. I usually don't use the gauge though I prefer timing when to use the trigger myself.

You mean the thing in the status menu? No, I had it turned on, I just didn
t know when exactly to press R! as I had tried it at several different times and it did not work.

It becomes almost second nature after a while. Becomes very easy. (To be honest I can't remember it not being easy, but I'm not sure if that has to do with the fact that I was only new to this game when it came out)

Haha, you are right about that. I am on the second disk, and now every time I attack I press it without thinking.

It is useful to me.

Question, are there any new GF's I can get on the second disk? I just escaped Prison and am looking for that base that is going to fire the missiles as Balamb.

Yeah you can get Leviathan, if you haven't got the Brothers GF from the Tomb Of The Unknown King you can get them and Pandemona.

Well it was near Deling City normally you would get it while you're getting the student ID to access Caraway's mansion.

It looks like we are getting off-topic you should create a general chat topic for FFVIII or edit the title for this one since the question this topic was created for has been answered.

You have to go through the entire tomb it helps if you buy the map and the marker for the map.

Alright, well, I went through most of it I think. I went through the entire right and top side. I saw a stone wall that told me how to get to the exit, thats it. Where is Leviathan, sorry for all the questions.

It's fine you can ask as many questions as you want. When you look at the map for the tomb you will notice that there are 3 distinct areas east, north and west in the tomb. You need to go to the area on the east first and fight Sacred one of the brothers. When you take down enough of it's HP it will run away now you can access the north area and you will find a chain take it off, the water will start flowing after this. Now go to the west section and you will find a mechanism controling the path to access the central area, pick up the item on the ground and place it in the mechanism now you can access the middle area which is directly north of where you enter the tomb you will fnd both Sacred and Minotaur there beat them and they're yours.

You draw Leviathan from Norg later in disk 2 back in Balamb.

Did you draw Siren from the robot you fight on the Seed exam and what about Carbuncle from the Iguion boss in Deling City?

Alright, I got Diablos and Brothers on my team. Thanks, I actually figured it out, then saw your message, lol.

No, I did not draw Siren. I saw something that said carbuncle, and I drew it.

Is Cerberus available on Disk 2?
