I'm thinking it's a lie... Even carried into the second battle I really doubt it could be taken down in 10 hits. Especially if your HR1 and in the 4 star quests.

Yo dudes B4 I did know Anything at all bout the game I was in HR 1 and I had passed all the Villege quests (exept Teostra one) and that happed to me once I lost in the first battle with Kushala the second one I hit him with 3 lighnin rods like 10 hits and It died ( It still had its face torn up and all **cked up LOL

Kushala daora is the easiest of the elder dragons, so i wouldn't be surprised, but what was your weapon when doing this?, as asked above.

Kushala is da easiest eldr dragon 2 beat as what Predian has said but i think Kushala is da most rugged n cool dragon than the others...Hmm any way any methods tht u got 2 kill kushala daora? Havn't tried 2 kill him b4 but had done to mke it run alrdy...DO ANY of u knw wht weapon 2 use 2 against him? N wht armour 2 use? plz = )

just wait for the air cannon while he is in non-flyin condition and strike his head. if he flies,stays at his....right? >_< cant remember it,just the opposite direction of where he start the sweeping beam, or stays under him,you can attack him while he's flyin but its quite hard
weapon:any except Great Sword, poison is good
armor:anti-wind if you can, but you can still beat him without it
EDIT:forgot to say that its okay to let elder dragons(in the exception of lao) retreat,the damage will be carried over,most people beat elder dragons at the rematch actually
