Well, a scan of the upcoming Famitsu issue has appeared on Japanese image board featuring much clearer screenshots of Platinum until the official site releases crystal clear pics at the end of the week. These confirm a few things:
* Shaymin will automatically convert to Sky Forme when sent over to Platinum and will stay Land Forme on Diamond & Pearl
* The Torn World, positioned above the Spear Pillar, really utilises the 3D engine of the game and has the lands in a 3D isometric view
* There are various other new areas positioned in Sinnoh for you to explore

Ah Serebii... Best place for news.
The main problem is, they haven't had a Shaymin event in the US.. So my guess is, if they're going to release Platinum, they're going to have to have a Shaymin event in the US... So maybe either this Fall, or next year.

Possibly, but why would nintendo and game freak decide to yet again incorporate part of the anime into the video games?

Whoa, that's cool, but how do you walk in a place like that. And if it's ABOVE Spear Pillar then where will Arceus be? Oh man this is gonna rule! I bet this game'll be THA best Pokemon ever made. I wouldn't doubt it...
I hope we can get Shaymin without an event though an' tha 3 Regis without event.

^^ Arceus :D hmm the event for him will probs come with platinum too, Tehy should just make it so you can get the items in game, tbh britain get no events so in my eyes there a waste and make people cheat.

It might be like in Mario Galaxy where you step on a certain spot an' then you change platform. Like gravity issues, it DID say Torn World.

^I know. Maybe it's like in Mario Galaxy where if you step on the end of a platform you flip to the other if it's in a weird place. Or maybe there are doors that take you to different sections. Hell don't ask me, I ain't Game Freak! lol

I don't think so cause tha anime (as far as tha movies go) is really strayin' away from tha games. Ever since movie 5 tha movies haven't went along with the current region at all. I mean mixin' Darkrai, Palkia, and Dialga into the movies (while they have no association in tha games) plus that town that ain't in Sinnoh. Yeah, no.

I know it. They usually are though imo. It's just this game looks so awsome already and we barely know about any of tha new stuff yet, just some upgrades, characters, and areas.
