Rathalos and Rathian help me please!!!

I am only HR1 but yet I have a 2 star quest to kill Rathalos and a different 2 star quest to kill rathian. What do I use to kill them???


NEED HELP!!!

Dragon weapons or ice weapons. Need I say more.

yes alot i am HR1.....

i would say hammer since even without element its pretty strong, and charge-land-pound tactic is pretty useful on rathalos oh, and hammers are pretty fast too

charge-land-pound: tactic available for hammer and gs
1st step: wyvern about to land/fly,for rathalos
2nd:you stand on his shadow
3rd:charge your weapon,timing is needed for GS
4th:wyvern land
5th:pound his head/slash his tail
side note:
-charge gives you anti-wind,pretty useful
-if he does not flinch after you pound his head do not try it until you get a better hammer

and as you already know,strong single blow is best against rathalos/ian

Rathian weakness : Dragon, Rathalos weakness: Ice...Bring 3 or 5 flsh bombs, this is my guide 2 kill rathalos : Evrytym rathalos fly, go under him and see where he fires da flameball...If he fires 2 da left, then quickly throw da flash bomb 2 da left(but mke sure u r under him when he still on da air!) and he will fall down so jst attack at da tym he gets blind...Attack da face 4 max dmge = )

thats it... weakness of the both is when they are blasting the fire balls...except when rathalos use that fire ball back step.. oh i hate this attack its always combo with a dash that cause 90% of mine deaths against him so be careful.. and the air fireballs just make shure its not a (air slam)

bring flash bombs and traps to break the parts and be patient because he become angry with few atacks

oh and on rathiam if you just counter the fb u can beat her without using potions...hummm... and counter the backflip on the tail

rathalos' aerial attack can't strike you if you're standing on his shadows
rathian's backflip sometimes can be combo-ed by her (double backflip)

Well u will rarely see rathian flying since she jst lyk 2 attck on da land but beware of da poisn flip attck! 2 avoid her poisn attck alwys, try 2 cut her tail early...But even u had cut her tail, she'll still hav her poisn when she does da flippin but u will hav highr chnce on not getting affcted by the poisn if u cut her tail earlier. Break her/his horns,cut their tail and break da wing's edge

i would use da long sword. "LS" have high attack and great speed, use blango decimator or sumting like that. Remember ice is you friend!

go with ice if you have a good ice weapon, if not use a weapon with highest raw damage that you can get at your stage as dragon attrib i dont think is obtainable at hr1, not a decent one anyway

Still need to know armor ...

Use anythig with fire resistance.

When i was hr1, i equippd great thnderswrd(I knw their weaknss is not thndr but i easily kill them with it) as my weapn n wore full set of y.kut-ku armour 2 fight Rthian n Rthlos...I failed 4 da 1st tym but at da 2nd tym, i won...All u need is to observe it's attack movements...At 3rd tym, i used a bow(daimyo warbow 2) and it took a long tym 2 defeat each of them but it's a worth, jst be patient..

So I should try to get full Kut-ku??

well if u wnt 2 try 2 mke kut-ku armour,then go on...Or u hav prblems 2 mke it? Anyway, if u wnt 2 kill kut-ku easily, jst use Silver Serpentblde(Greatswrd)...
