OK here is another one of my famous threads :P. OK mine is Pokemon because Pokemon has many more tails and wonders behind it if you look closely into the details its really one big wondrous world of imagination (I'm only 15 so you can understand that) both for children to the world of teenagers and adults but Digimon on the other hand is Highly Irrelevant to a child's mind come on they could do alot better you dont see any adults running up to ppl saying this "IM A DIGIMON FAN DO YOU WANT TO BATTLE ME" of course you dont so that is my argument to start this thread

Digimon for me, after jhoto in pokemon it got stupid. and in digimon after the one with the cards it got a little lame and after the where the people became the digimon it went WAY downhill.

uh.. digimon, i cant understand pokemon
pokemon storyline in my eyes: 1)ash and the other walking 2)they ecounter something that involving the game 3)team rocket pop up 4)TR capture pikachu 5)ash and the other get pikachu back, TR fly and there's a * 6)ash and the other continue their adventure but its been a long time since i watch pokemon and that is just my opinion, sorry to all pokefan out there  avy by Rj

God, I haven't seen digimon in ages, and the only pokemon episode I've seen lately are the cruddy new ones.
I suppose I'll say Digimon in terms of the cartoon itself. I feel that pokemon has better games, but the first two seasons of Digimon were just plain golden. Pokemon season one was alright, and two was fine, but after that it just got terrible. I also disliked to an INCREDIBLE degree how repetitive pokemon got: POKEMON EPISODE GUIDE 1. Ash, Brock and some hooker they picked up walk into an area that's special for one reason or another. 2. They meet someone who's some sort of expert at something. 3. The say how cool it is, and try it for themselves and/or battle someone. 4. Team Rocket shows up and steals Pikachu. 5. They save Pikachu and move on. 6. HAPPY ENDING, YAY! Obviously, EVERY episode didn't go that way, but most of them did, and it just got boring after a while. Digimon kept it interesting, and, although season 3 was fairly weak, and 4 wasn't very good, the first two were awesome, so Digimon kicks the crap out of pokemon. Digital Monsters > Pocket Monsters |

In terms of the anime, I do prefer Digimon, because it wasn't as repetitive as Pokemon. In terms of creativity, Pokemon, because Digimon is actually a semi copy. In terms of music, I do prefer Digimon because it's more... Original, in a way. In terms of games, Pokemon has way too many games of the same thing and Digimon is almost the same, so they tie... Overall, I prefer... Digimon.

master_1 seemed to ignore my point entierly.
And it seems like he's wrong now, since Juli agreed with the mod-squad. And Juli's right. Pokemon is REALLY repetitive. I almost feel like I'm watching the same episode over and over again. Perhaps the Pokemon writers are just really lazy. |

Don't worry. My team of invisible ninjas with silenced shotguns (you wouldn't believe how hard it is to silence a shotgun!) are keeping an eye on you.
It's a good thing 4Kids never got to Digimon. They'd find a way to make it bad. |

Ex-mods are sometimes better than mods.
 I'm with Digimon, since Pokemon uses a stupid template again and again.. plus, they promoted Zionism, which I dislike. If 4Kids get to Digimon, the main characters would sound like Donald Duck. |

I would go with pokemon because of the games, but since it's about anime I'd go with digimon. like everyone has said pokemon is too repetative.

Just for that, I'm gonna find my old Digivice game, wait until I'm 21, and run up to a random person on the street and say: "I'M A DIGIMON FAN, DO YOU WANT TO BATTLE ME?"
Especially if it's master_1 I see on the street. |

Digimon just owns Pokemon completely, as others have said, Pokemo gets repetitive, and the first two seasons of Digimin were made of win.
Digimon season 3 was okay until the trainers started turning into the Digimon, I though that was stupid. And then season 4, that was okay to, but the main characters were actually there own Digimon. Pokemon season 1 and 2 were OKAY, and the rest failed. So, imo, Digimon owns Pokemon. |

Why are there so many vs. threads? When I stopped being mod, did everyone pretty much say "f*ck it" and let everything go wild? I thought disputes about anime and characters in said anime were to be discussed in the anime's thread?
