For level 30-50 Mmr pyre is excellent. Shuppets on the ground floor give up to 400 exp and can be easily one hit

I'm with you Warrior. That's exactly how I trained my lower level Pokemon. Once they was high enough or I thought they was high enough. I'd try to run them thru by there self. Even if I only beat a few Pokemon, my Pokemon was getting max Exp. I'd just use Exp. Share all the way thru the Elite Four several times then let my Pokemon I am working up do the work.
