My opinion is that it's purely common courtesy among people. Women being typically less aggressive and willing to fight, it isn't right to just out of nowhere hit a girl. At the same time, however, in self-defense or a planned fight (lol) it's quite alright. I'm not scared to hit someone if they did something to me. That's what you learn to spar for. But not without plausible reason.

You obviously haven't had a night out down my end, those bloody women are ceratainly willing to fight and they're more agressive than most males, lol.

Apparently, that just ignored all of the sexism and equality we've been talking about for the last few pages.

If you think girls can't do much damage to guys, you're crazy. The other day, I knew I was jerk to a girl, so I let her smack me in the face, just because I knew I deserved it. Guess what? It hurt. Obviously I just laughed it off because I let her do it, but my point is is that girls can hurt a guy just as much as a guy can hurt another guy.

As for all that gentlemen crap, we've been over this. If men need to respect women like that, women need to respect men at the same level. We're all equals in the world, and a person's sex isn't going to change that.

Elena, i8.0 is right. I, kick-boxing regional champion and karate expert, can take down the Queen's bodyguards (male) in a few seconds (that's exaggerating).

But then, since i have bothered to read the last few pages, I've finally come to the conclusion that boys shoudn't hit girls that are alot younger than them or show no sign of wanting violence, but other people, go ahead, excpecially if you meet me. I need a good competitor.

OK, I'll admit, I haven't read anything on the past few pages. But I still think boys should go with chilvary.

I think guys shouldn't hit girls it is not polite. unless the girl or girls try to
do you real harm then defend but don't strike like hold her down and tell her to stop or run

No one should hit a girl, ever. If another guy is hittin a girl i'd do my best to stop him. The only reason to hit a girl is if shes really trying to hurt you, and even then its better to try to talk her out of it.

So if it was some defenseless guy layed out cold and a man was continuing to batter him you'd walk straight on by?

It does seem to be quite a common theme, the 'never ever hit a girl, unless your in trouble. At the end of the day thats still a yes for hitting a girl, either its a yes (no matter the circumstance) or a no, theres no inbetween.

Also if we are not allowed to hit girls under any circumstances does that mean I also can't fight back if someone with glasses is attacking me.

I believe that if shes hitting you jokingly then you shouldn't but if shes trying to inflict pain then yes, as for the man getting hit on the street or any where I would help him also even if a girl is hurting him, but I wouldn't hit her or a man unless the person tries to hit me.

"I would help him also even if a girl is hurting him, but I wouldn't hit her or a man unless the person tries to hit me." So you would hit a girl given the same motivation for hitting a guy. That's the bottom line.

If the girl attacks me, I will fight back for the fact that the girl had just hit me. Heck, in my school I am picked on by girls and boys(mainly boys) and it gets so serious as me getting hit I will go war-like on them.

I think that you should be able to hit girls. But only when prevoked. Not to just say "I don't like her" and walk up and punch her in the mouth. I've met girls who could beat the crap outta many guys. And with all the talk about equal rights with jobs and positions and salary, I think it should be across the board. Don't say you deserve a man's job if you can't compete with a man for said job. A lot of girls are tougher than guys give them credit for, but stereotypes always overshadow truth. I say equal rights for all. So ladies, if you want to be equal to me, then be equal all the way.

yeah we're pretty much screwed regardless of how the situation happens. If it goes to court, the guys going to jail. That's just how society has made it. Its to the point where even if you don't hit her, and she claims you did, and has a bruise, say, from hitting herself, you'll still end up in a cell with big butch. Being his little *****.

IMO, girls are overprotected. Society expects them to weak-like and frail, etc. As Blacklist1 said, guys have the short end, which doesn't sound like equality among humans. Girls can do anything guys can do and vise versa, and don't give me crap like; guys can't give birth or girls can't stand and whiz, those are stupid arguments. The reason why women are taken advantage and such is because they have society believing that they truly are weak, and yet women always want to show that they aren't.

In other words, guys should be allowed to hit girls without any repercussions(to an extent of course).
