I watched the entire speech. I had the entire day off, cuz I'm sick. He is so charismatic, his speech was so uplifting.... And the local Australian stock market has been going up up up, and only 5 minutes after he became president. Barack is going to be a president to remember.

I don't think Obama's speech was near MLK's level. Sure, he's a damned good speaker, but he didn't say anything major enough to be quoted in textbooks. It's hard to beat "I have a dream."
But, if JFK and MLK fused, Obama is who I'd say it would turn out to be. But he'd have a cool name, like Jartin Luther F. Kenneking.

I watched all ITV's coverage of the Election Night, it was actually pretty entertaining, surprisingly. It was obvious from the beginning that Obama was going to win, and he nailed it as soon as he won in Ohio.
I'm happy Obama won, I'm not an American but I believe his policies are much stronger than that of the Republicans. Its also a big step for racism in the US.
