Been Kissed????

They are not strict.. well atleast not to me because im a good kid. I do everything they expect me to do, so i never get in trouble and i have all their trust to do whatever i want.

It's just indian culture. It's considered adultery to have a gf, break up and then have another gf.

So we just go straight to marriage. Arrange marriages. But the generations are slowly changing, now we can do love marriages if we find the right person ourselves.

I think im allowed to 'search' for a person after im 18. imo it's the same thing is dating.

So, you might end up marrying someone you've never before met and could be the total opposite of the sort of person you'd like to marry? I'm guessing that can't be too good, but at least it seems you have some freedom when you're eighteen, whenever that is.

You must be a very patient person; I could never do anything of the sort. For that, I commend you.

And it's not a girl I never met..
again it's like dating without all the kissing and stuff.

Parent's look up a girl for me, I get to know her by going out with her (save the kissin and stuff for marriage).. and if i approve then marriage.

That's pretty much how it works.

I don't see what the big deal is. People make fun of me for never having a girlfriend, and I really don't want to have a girl dangling off my arm right now. Especially at the high school I'm at right now, I just don't have time.
I doubt any girl wold want to kiss a loony anyways... ;_;

girls marry pretty young.. anywhere from 17-24..

Guys only marry after college and getting a good job, so from 23 - 30.
And divorce is definitely out of the question.

My aunt's husband left over for like 20 years now and they still aren't divorced. But on the other hand my other aunt got divorced when her husband cheated on her.. but she is in america. It's looked down upon india.
