Lord of the Rings trilogy. I would add The Hobbit to the collection if it didn't feature references to the reader (sort of a narrative style).

I agree, when I think of the Lord of the Rings I always think of The Hobbit. Probably because it was done by the same author.

I enjoy reading, but don't have much time for it.
The first ever book series I read, The Darren Shan Saga, by, well, Darren Shan, is easily my favourite series, it was amazing.
