Yu-Gi-Oh Discussion

Well I haven't been back into Yugioh very long.

I havn't Played Yu-Gi-Oh in....3months, dont plan on doing so.

I can see where some people would still think of it as a Child's Card Game :P, Sill fun form time to time.

It isn't a child's game, it's really complex at time & children probably just collect the cards more than anything. However like most great things it's been labeled as such.

lol, I asked my father what he thought about it, and he said this: "It's like any other Card Game, a Strategy game, Albeit a odd, yet popular one" or something close to that :P.

Well that's one person older than 18 that agrees with me.

lol, But even though it's a strategy game, Some people don't think it's a Strategy, but more of a 'Who-cna-get-the-better-monster-out-first' or a 'who-can-OTK-first' >_>.

Yeah, but if it's two mature teenagers who have actually made decent decks & know the game then it really gets fun. I hate it when ignorant people (not as in stupid) say that Pokemon or Yugioh or any number of things is childish & stupid when they've never really taken the time to play the game & judge for themselves.

That's why they made tournaments to let the riff raff out.I hope one day that I actually have a chance at playing against some one else other than my younger brother at Yu-gi-oh.

pwnthemonkeys: lol, I feel the same way, I mainly duel either my little brother or my sister :P. But I do hope to go to a tournament one day with a Fortune Lady deck, I've been using one on Tag Force 4 and it seems pretty good :P, I mean, I took down the main Signers with it XD.

I too would like to see how my Fiend deck would do in a tournament, I think I would win.

Well we'd have to build our decks well toe beat those Lightsworn and Blackwings :P, Not to mention Gladiator Beasts.

Mine is already built that way, I hate the metagame, people just copy other peoples' decks & that takes the fun out of it.

Finally, Someone who agrees with me! XD, People need to build decks that aren't copies of other decks, it's just not original and makes dueling very boring -_-.

Originality makes the game fun & unpredictable, makes you think more. Maybe we could see some unique decks if people didn't copy all the time.

Exactly, That's why, until I got the other cards I need for a Fortune Lady deck, I'm using Psychic's and/or Warriors XD, I refuse to use Blackwings, Lightsworn and Gladiators, I swear, I should sell all my Blackwing cards I currently got...(which ain't much...)

I have a few, like 4, used to have 5 until one was included in a trade on that website. I traded Silent Swordsman LV5, Sanctuary in the Sky, Blackwing - Shura the Blue Flame, & Freed the Brave Wanderer for Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode, Battle Mania, Dark Resonator, Krebons, & Dark Tinker.

But if I had to use one of the 'status quo' decks out there I'd probably pick the Blackwings.

lol, The only Blackwings I got are 2 Shura the Blue Flame (1 of them is a Limited Edition), 2 Bora the Spear, and 1 Gale the Whirlwind :P. I'd only use one of the Meta Decks if I was persuaded or something, like promised that Konami would make a few cads I wanted to be made .

Ha, lol that would be cool. I'd love to design a few cards for Konami.

lol, Yeah, then we could make good cards instead of the sometimes lame ones they make :P, I'd make some Anti-Blackwing, Anti-Lightsworn, and Anti-Gladiator Beast stuff XD.
