Your favourite weapons

Post your favourite weapons here.

I started out really liking the Chinese Assault Rifle, and that was great. Then I moved more towards the Hunting Rifle. Eventually that was useless.
Up until now, I would alternate between the Plasma Rifle, Lincolns Repeater, Combat Shotgun and C.A.R.
Lately however, I've really been getting into Big Guns, especially the flamer. It kinda makes me regret getting to level 20, as my BG level is pretty low.

I like the Xuanlong Assault Rifle. 36 sized clips, massive damage, and a decent range. It wears out fast, but in later levels, you run into CAR's all the time (I've got like 20 sitting in my locker at home >.>)
I also really love A3-21's Plasma Rifle, and not because it's worth probably the most caps of any weapons. It just does massive damage, and is my choice weapon for taking down robots (Even the Sentry Bot, although I normally just use pulse grenades.)
Lincoln's Repeater is nice too, but the ammo for it is too rare.
Sydney's "Ultra" SMG is awesome, if only to get an infinite number and sell them all :D

I think my favorite weapons are the laser rifle/pistol and the minigun. The laser weapons because they look awesome and it reminds me of Star Wars for some reason (I'm in love with Star Wars). And with the minigun... Who can't love a minigun. They have a lot of firepower and you can find 5mm ammo like everywhere. The only drawback is the 18 lbs that comes with it.

For me its easily the plasma rifle. Thats the weapon I find myself most using, with plenty of ammo, a decent power, and good rate of fire. I decided today I am just going to look for all the power weapons, right now I just have the Alien Blaster as my "power" weapon.

For me, it's the Laser Rifle because it's fun shooting enemies until the become a pile of ash (And I can get a ton of MF Cells for it). The Gatling Laser would be one of my favorites if it didn't devour my E.C. Packs like it was fresh water.

I like the Combat Shotgun and the Chinese Assault Rifle quite a bit for Small guns, the Shishkebab for melee, and the Missle Launcher for Big Guns.

When i'm killing humans i use the Dart Gun but against robots i use whatever i have the most ammo for.

I like the dart gun. As soon as I made one my tactics changed when dealing with organics. Its great when you dart a raider and they lose the stomach for the fight and try to run for it, of course they don't get very far because their legs are crippled! Also makes it much easier to kill Deathclaws. For dealing with Bots I like the Gatling Laser fired from the hip. I've noticed both the Mini gun and Gatling Laser are very inaccurate when used in V.A.T.S.

The only problem i have with the gatling laser and mini gun is that they use ammo amazingly fast.

I have all the "special" weapons now. ^^ They are great. Oh, except now need to get MIRV. :p

The MIRV is awesome. I've destroyed Megaton with it like ten times.

Can you LITERALLY blow it up with that? D=

Well, not literally, as in "BAM IT'S GONE NOOB!" But you can pretty much cover it with the warmth of a nuclear holicaust with a few shots and kill the majority of the population. (I have 27 Mini-Nukes, which allows me to fire three shots.)

I had the MIRV (Until I decided to start over again) I never had enough mini-nukes to use it T_T

There were five nukes in the room with the MIRV, you're telling me you couldn't find three more?

Loony you seem to memorize everything unlike everyone else who doesn't know where all the mini nukes are. I want the MIRV but i forgot how to get it and not sure where in the guide to look.

I know where some are because I've played through the game like 3 times. I have 27, but of those, alot I stubled upon by accident while wandering, bought them, or used a guide to find them.
