Otacon telling you that the patriots are dead is just a classic cliffhanger to get you to play mgs4 when it comes out (for ps3) I admit that the story's a little confusing but that's why I can't answer it here. It's just too complex. But here's a simple dumbed down explanation-The patriots control everything. They staged the whole tanker incident and the terrorist takeover as a test for arsenal gear's gw system which allowed them to control digital information. Everything that happened was all orchestrated by the patriots

what do you get for collecting dog tags i got all but 5 on easy and a few on the others and if any one knows where the M9 and shaver is on normal and onwards i'll be really happy

The shaver is in the same spot near the diving suits crawl under the door or go through it if its open and theres the shaver and the M9 its in the struct were all the wepons are (sorry for not being more specific iI haven't played the game in a LOOOOOOOONGGGGGG time)and for dog tags say freeze to every gaurd you see point the gun at their head and out comes a dog tag read the post on "Need some help ill do what i can" and check out the user subbmited cheats and hints
