Commonly Suggested Functions and To Do List ~ Read before suggesting--Updated 7/20/2011

Here is a list of the most commonly suggested functions and functions that have either been agreed to or denied. These conditions are what I know about them, and may change over time.

Main Site:

- Combination of accounts through posts, subs, etc. - Will likely happen

- Page listing all staff members and where they Moderate - Probably will happen

- iPhone/iTouch App as well as mobile and touch versions of the website - Will happen sometime in the future.

- Ability for smods+ to be able to see through private bios...or altogether removing the feature. - Will happen, Rich's decision which.

- Name change - "yes I plan to do this, the outline is somewhere and there will be restrictions and a name list memory." -Rich

- Feature preventing more than one image being submitted into you signature - Will happen

- System preventing avatars with over 100 KB from being uploaded - Will happen

- Limit to answering questions and question getting closed after certain amount with OP given ability to reopen if wished. - Rich says, "Not sure about this one... Have to think about it... "

- On the game page it would look something like this >>> Showing the number of people who have the game. Then, when you click on the numbers, you'll be taken to a page listing all the members who have the game. - Confirmed

- Updates to Bio "What I moderate", "stats" etc. - Confirmed.


Forums:

- When clicking on the "New" button it takes you to the last post of the last page - Will Happen

- Forum IP checks for smods - Will happen

- Confirmation when Moving Topics - Will happen

- Online/Offline status problem having to due with it saying your "offline" when appearing offline when it usually shows nothing - Will be fixed

- More Colors/Skins for the Forums - Will Happen

- Closed sign added to closed threads in Latest Posts - Can be done.

- See the number of posts and the date last posted for hub mods when viewing the hubs/forums you mod - Will happen.

- An announcements section for each forum and directory where announcements can be placed by staff. Mods will have control over their forums, and smods/admins everywhere - Will happen

Teams&Clans:

- Team awards - Will happen

- Search the individual posts in Teams - Confirmed

- Ability for T&C mods+ to be able to transfer Team Chief positions between accounts, along with the original chief account always being able to revert all power back to that account. - Will most likely happen.

- Whenever you click on the 'last' page of a team, you're a page back from the actual end. Needs to be fixed. - Will happen

- Image limit for the T&C being increased to 3. - Will happen

- Ability for T&C mods to lock any thread only reversible by another T&C mod. (Note that a team chief would NOT be able to reverse a lock, only a close.)

- Ability to move T&C threads up or down regarding the order that they are shown in. - Will happen

- Ability for staff to lock posts from being edited or deleted by members. - Will happen pending Rich's approval.

- Ability for T&C Mods and Chiefs to be able to open closed threads. - Will happen

- Keeping the T&C updated along with the forums in terms of advancements such as post count, titles, etc. - Will Happen

Forums&Teams

- System that makes all report bad post/thread reports go to the Moderators of the forum instead of Rich/Dennis - Will happen

-Private Messaging (PM) - Will probably happen

- 'Live Update' allowing for the notice of a poster before he/she posts if someone has posted after the page has loaded. - Will happen.

- Ability for smods to be able to see 'Appearing Offline' users - Will happen

- Edit post feature for mods/smods along with an edit log - Will happen but not huge priority

- Smod ability to view deleted content - Rich is thinking about it.

- Editing titles with an apostrophe as well as constant glitches regarding apostrophes... Does not work properly, will be fixed.

- Choice of how many posts/topics per page - Coming soon

- Favorite forums list alphabetized - Will get done but not urgent.

- More BB Codes - We are more than likely done with these, but if you really think you have something brilliant go ahead and ask.

- REWARD SYSTEM: Reward point type system for posts. Rich confirmed that he is looking into arranging this.

- Smod+ ability to see ban details on banned members including , "banned on, length, reason, and Ban placed by" through the normal ban window once a member is banned. - Approved by smod+ team, pending Rich's approval.

- Username Color Changes - Will Happen

Denied Suggestions:

- Ability to use brackets in a post with BBCode without the brackets messing up the BBCode - Sadly, not possible to do. Instead, don't use brackets in a post with BBCode.

- Deletion/Closing of Old Topics - Won't happen.

- "Co-Chiefs" in the Teams & Clans sector capable of moderating the team with leader like powers - Not gonna happen.

- Chat Room/IM/IRC - Not gonna happen.

- Further Enlargement on Sig Image Limit or number of characters - Not gonna happen.

- New Smilies - No matter the type of smiley, there will be no more smileys.

- Opening old T&C Forum - not going to happen.

- Members with mod powers - Not going to happen. Never going to happen. Period.

- Quoting System being changed back to old form - Not gonna happen.

- Re-Opening of "Spam Fest" or any sort of spamming related forum - Not gonna happen.




Any topics meant for the exact re-suggestion of anything contained in this post will be closed. Improved upon versions of the ideas and variations are more than welcome for review. (As well as completely new ideas of course.) Also, I would like all S&P mods/smods to help me out in making this. If something needs to be added open this thread and post it, because I do miss things. Thanks.
