Ok, I'll rate it a 8/10, seeming the graphics appear to be the same as Advance 2.

I would give it a 9/10 because although the graphics are similar to the older version..they work. Thats all that matters. Why mess with perfection??? This game offers many new units as well as game play styles including the real time combat mode...and the survival mode. Versus mode is now a lot different as well giving you the option to choose DS battles where there is action on both the top and bottom screen where you wage war across 2 different fronts. The Battle Map store also has a few new tricks up its sleeve as well including 8 new CO's, new maps, and a new map editor item called the oozium which the black hole uses in later stages of the game. You can also unlock a sound room, a gallery, the hard version of the campaign, hard version of the combat and survival modes, and color editors for all the CO's. Keep in mind that some items only become available when you have progressed a certain amount in the game!! Also, if you insert an Advance Wars or Advance Wars 2 game into the game slot while you are playing advance wars DS, there is a new map and wallpaper (depending on what version you put in) priced at 1 G Each...yes I said 1 G!!!

I give it a 10/10 for all-around playability, this game is hugely addicting and shows that the DS has a few good games it can show compared to the other semi-sad games it has released so far, hopefully the DS can keep up with a good supply of games as good as this one.

This, along with dawn of sorrow, proves games do not need to be 3d to be awesome

10/10, A bit challenging but really fun. The campaign plot I like. If you play it almost non-stop though then you finish campaign pretty fast. It's Brilliant gameplay, addictive and 4 player with the same DS which makes it even better. (i'm so far on mission 27 on campaign)

i'd rate this 8/10 compared to advaancewars 2 (which i rate 10/10)
its because not much has changed from advancewars 2, like the gameplay and graphic. And also, although the graphic is slightly better, i prefer the difficulty and stuff in AW 2. The campaigns are harder in advancewars 2, and also i think the NINTENDO should've put more new stuffs than just real-time modes, etc.
THe boss lvls are much easier in this DS version and the new COs' Co powers shoud have NOT been the same as Adder's and Flak's. I'd prefer a stronger boss than Von Bolt , e.g. STURM !!!!! i always hoped that nintendo would somehow bring sturm back... :(

But otherwise i think the game is great

pwn is just a slang word used on the internet. but to keep on topic. I rate the game a 9/10 very addicting and some awesome gameplay.

8/10 couse it could have some work done to it but over all it is fun and eaddicting
