List your favorite counter attacks here using any weapon.
My favorite is with the throwing knives/short sword where he stabs them in the knee (or cuts them i cant remember) then again in the side of the neck. With the long sword it would have to be the one where he like spins around and cuts their chest and back whilst moving around them.

Shortsword owns. I cant get it to counter with the same regularity as longsword though. Is that common or just me?

Do you mean you find it harder to counter with? If you have been using the sword for most of the game then switch to shortsword it takes a bit of getting used to because when you hit counter it's sort of faster to do it.

Thanks, I thought it was a mentality thing. If i have trouble I just whip out the longsword and run em' through.

That's ok, it does feel a bit weird at first but you can get used to it within 5-10 mins.

My favorite counters are the one with the short sword where he cuts the soldiers knees(dropping to there knees), then stands in front of them and stabs them in the head(you can see the blade come through there neck).My other favorite in with the long sword.You punch the soldier in the stomach, then in the throat, then brings down the sword into his shoulder blade(it makes an awsome bone cracking sound).
