Nukes

How many Nukes have you got, or how many have you gotten close to a Nuke?

I have currently 1 Nuke.
Map: Trailer Park: Using RPD Grip, Sleight of Hand Pro,Hardline Pro,Sit-Rep Pro and Striker Grip.
KS: Harrier, Chopper Gunner, Nuke

I have gotten 10-15 Close Nukes, either I die, or the game ends.

I have none.

...No, not the case. I never try for a nuke, because I don't find it satisfying to play the game like that. I'd much rather go 46-5 then 25-0 because for me more meaningful killing is more fun then switching between a few positions and picking people off for the entire game. By the same token I'd rather go 24-1 in Quarry once (As is my best S&D record, rushing the entire time mind you, not camping) then get any number of legit nukes.

I actually wasn't camping, I was walking around. If I heard someone because of my Turtle's and Sit-Rep Pro, I would find them and kill them.

Aye, makes perfect sense Josh. Between the modded 10th (like myself) and turtles on that specific map you've got everything you need. That map is heaven with turtles and SitRep Pro I know. The map is single-leveled and has people running all over. Plus almost nobody uses ninja there. Add in a SPAS with grip and scavanger and you're golden.

Exactly. I don't use the SPAS, I also ending up missing, then the Knife me or shot me before I get the next shot off. So I used the Striker

I got 1 nuke once, then I never tried again.
It was in Invasion I think (the one with loads of streets in it).
I have to say, I think that the Nuke was a great idea in it's origin, but like the Golden Guns in CoD4, people boosted so much it's now holds so little value....

No nukes, came close a couple of times when I was rushing. I was trying for a Tac Knife only Nuke, almost got one on Wasteland, and got 23 KS on Derail before the game ended last night. But other that those couple of times trying, I haven't really been concerned.

Considering I don't really play many objective games, I'm never really in a position to get them anyway, because I almost always end up on a team that will all rush, & so they let the enemy get in behind & then they all die like morons -.-

That was the one time I actually went for it.
I've gotten 25ks countless times but I just don't like having nuke as a killstreak, when it can be something more useful like a emergency airdrop

No nukes but i have gotten close.23 i think it was.

But i was ****** at my friend.He was on the opposite team and his team was $hit.It was TDM and he went around killing people.It was 7400(my team)-6400(his team)and he launched a nuke.And roughly one second after i got a kill.

I don't even have that killstreak unlocked because I can't be bothered with it...

I have gotten one Nuke on Invasion because I really just wanted to get one so I could say I did, and didn't want to try so I used ACR but I tried once before that and at about 22 it ended because it was TDM...I haven't tried since because I don't see the great appeal.

Your Nuke was in CTF if I remember correctly yes?

It was but the one I tried before that was in TDM.

I gotten 1 but wasn't proud of myself. I noobtubed in Terminal lol so yeah...

Not as bad as a guy I know. OMA + RPD w/grip + Stopping power, camping ontop of the already blown propane tank in terminal.

and I mean on top of it, not on the roof that it sits on lol People are hard to see amoungst the flames when they're on top of the tank after its blown if you don't come from behind (the outside, near the petrol tanker truck)

That was his only nuke & I almost stopped him, as I joined the game late, and saw him, killed him pretty much 2 seconds after his 25th kill -.-

How the hell do you get on top on it? 0_o

^Jumping on stuff.

Just jump onto the two revolving air vents (they're silver - on the building side), then run-jump onto the platform the tank is on, then go around the other side (car pack/runway side,) there's a little fuse box thing, walk on that (it should be raised about an inch or so from the place your standing) then jump onto the propane tank.

You're easy to see if it hasn't blown up, so be careful, because people always aim to blow it up to clear people off the top lol
