Hey guys, my friend and I have just decided to give World at War Online a crack. We often play Modern Warfare, and we're just waiting for Modern Warfare 2 to be released. Since neither of us have played World at War online, I'm writing to ask about the play online compared to Modern Warfare. Perks, guns (I know a couple of the guns from campaign and offline multiplayer - are there any other guns etc like there are with Modern Warfare) and anything else that sets it apart from from Moder Warfare? Aside of course from period pieces (such as stationary cars etc etc)

Also, what can I expect from the online play, is it similar to Modern Warfare? Is it easy to find games etc? Modern Warfare is as easy as it gets, just go to 'online' and bam, all the games etc etc are there, so its very user friendly. Is World at War like that or slightly different?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Well most say W@W ripped off of Modern Warfare only with different guns and a few new perks, but yeah it's a lot like Modern Warfare when opening up find game though it says...

Core: (Normal mode)
Hardcore: (Hardcore if you remember from Modern Warfare)
Map Pack: (Only plays on the newest Map Pack with Hardcore and Core game modes)

So it's relatively easier to use than Modern Warfare, IMO.

Please keep in mind if I don't give you correct information I have the PS3 version of this game and have had the Wii version (Didn't play online since Wii doesn't have good online. :p

I've got a PS3, so it's all good.

can you give me a heads up up on the new perks etc, and the best classes etc to start the game off? I generally only play Team Deathmatches or Mercenary Team Deathmatches on Modern Warfare as I'm only a part-time player and only really care about giving the more 'hardcore' full-time players a run for their money Evil
