It took me a bit of practice to master that one. You'll need to time your power-slide pretty well to get up there, but it's well worth the effort.

I've heard there was a shortcut at the side of one of the pipes but I could never find it. Do you know where it is?

You know how at the start there's a fork road and when they meet up into another tunnel? Well the first little corner and up on the wall to the right is where it is.

In the wall. Funny thing is: when you jump up to it your character does their jump move and then returns it to normal when you get inside and land on the turbo pad.

In the Relic Race mode, you can shave ten seconds from your time if you've broken all of the Time Crates in the course. That's always been helpful to me.

For me, it was mostly noticeable in Crash Cove, where I'd already beaten the Platinum relic time before losing 10 seconds for breaking all of the Time Crates.

I think it has something to do with a turbo pad... I'm quite rusty, so don't take my word for it.

Yeah, basically there's this turbo pad and this kinda "bump" or small hill on the road and basically you jump at the top of it over the barrier on the left.

Yeah me too. Hey guys, I think I did mention it before, but you know when you're in the massive left "tornado" corner at the start? Well when you go underneath the last road bit and look to the right one of the panels for a brief second opens then closes.

Funny thing one time on that track was I was against the computer and I got hit by a beaker just before the massive jump and I instinctively pressed RI and made it across the gap.
