Favorite Character

Of course it does, seeing as he's the character that brought this game to be in the first place.

That's the general point. *Gets into deep thoughts*.........What this place needs is something to spark it up again.

Also, since Dr. Cortex is Crash's arch-nemesis, there really wouldn't be any rivalry between the Good and Evil sides if they weren't equal in capability. Then Naughty Dog decided to put N. Oxide into the game and gave him a major stat upgrade.

Well, DigDugDude was the guy who posted here a lot, and when he posted here we posted here, and when we posted here Ray and FireDragons (who has practically disappeared) would post here, and when the forum was full of activity, other people who would visit the PS1 boards would come and post here as well... It's just that all of those who made the forum jump with activity have moved on, and that's what gets this place so dull.

Yes, due to my awesomeness this forum was alive with activity, but without me it has fallen into the pits of inactivity. I shall resurect it.

Do you think any one character is more well-done graphically than the others? I think that Penta sort of looks better.

I think the complicated ones excluding Oxide ae good like TIny Tiger or Pura.

Hey, Kenny, do you prefer a character with good speed, accel, or turning? I like a good all-around racer.

Me too. It's just obvious to go for the well balanced one. Though occasionally I do go for Speed or acceleration.

But even a fast character can turn well with the turbo slide, so sometimes I go for speed.

Depends on the type of corner. If it's a hard 180, then you will ahve to turn hard whilst braking, not powersliding cause you'll hit the wall.

I guess it matters what track it is. There's not really a track with an extreame need for accelleration, I wouldn't think. But, there are some tracks that need speed, as well as handling.

Well, I'd say Acceleration is probably needed in places like TIny Arena, Turbo Track, possibly Slide Coliseum and generally a good start off the line.

I think speed's the most important thing at Tiny Arena, but you're right about the Turbo Track and Slide Colliseum.

I've always liked Cortex because of his... evil qualities, but now I prefer N. Tropy or Penta.

But N. Tropy has the worst steering in the game. I can hardly ever win with him.

I seem to do quite well with N.Tropy actually. His steering isn't as bad as Dingodile's or Tiny's. Papu Papu has the worst steering.

Papu does? I've always seemed to do pretty good with Papu.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, I've only used him for the battle areas.
