OK, my mind is a bit slow at 60 but I found a way to cheat when in doubt about doing stuff.
First 'save' the game. Then create a 'duplicate' file. Do what you want to do like 'upgrading'.If you don't like the result just 'reset' the machine without saving and poof, it is gone. Or if you continue on a bit and don't like the result, 'delete' the file and you always have the duplicate file to fall back on. Then create another duplicate for your next uncertain try. I'm not getting older, I'm getting lazier. Bad Hands
