Really, I only prefer Nero against bosses, Mesphito's, and Faust's. For everting else, there's Dante. (Master Card humor XD)

It only takes 5 shots on a faust with coyote to take down the cloak you need to shoot them up close not long range then one real impact attack with Gilgamesh and you beat them.

The guns obviously have more power up close anyway.

Yeah the coyote is useless from long range.

What does the Coyote look like? Is it a big gun?

It's a shotgun it's not really big.

I've tried shooting them up close. It has the same effect: A lot of shots to take them down. And unless you're in midair, there's a good second or two between every shot. Nero's Devil Bringer is really fast to pull the cloaks off.

That's what you should do jump into the air while firing.

Can he even fight without his Devil Bringer?

Yeah he can he's part of an order that fights demons.

His sword is actually pretty powerful. Especially after you buy Max-Act, then he sometimes gets his Exceed attack gauge maxed out while fighting, and when he attacks with his exceed gauge filled, his sword attacks with fire. I actually like Nero's sword better than Dante's. Million Stab is nice, but Exceed is just awesome.

Exceed is ok it works best if you use it with every attack practice getting exceed with each strike and you can get a high stylish rating very fast. I definately prefer Dante's sword though.

I really just think Rebellion is a plain, average sword. Red Queen shakes things up a bit and looks much cooler.

Red Queen is epic because you can charge it.
Dante's Rebellion is meh, but it has wicked combos you can pull of.

Red Queen is good but I prefer the speed Dante attacks with and I prefer the combos Dante has.

All I really like with Rebellion is his Sword Master combo, and Million Stab.

With Max act, Red Queen will melt your face off. Literally.

The Red Queen isn't that good even with Max act a lot of the attacks are too slow. This is definately proved when you fighting Dante. When it's Dante vs Dante you can attack him directly but with Nero you have to keep your distance and rely on the DB.

Charge Level 3 on Blue Rose helps too :P

Well, you can get hits on Dante with Red Queen. Just get him into a gun stalemate, inch closer to him, and just before he would pull his sword on you, use streak. It usually gets him. Considering he doesn't pull his sword first.

But Dante seems to have a lot of useless weapons too. Lucifer isn't too good. It's nice while fighting the knights, but that's about it. I find myself rarely using Gilgamesh (Whatever it's called.) and I don't use Ebony and Ivory too much. I just stick with Rebellion, Cyote, and Pandora.

Yeah but it's much more effective with DB and there isn't a lot of time to charge up the shot before he attacks. It's still much easier with Dante.

I do agree that Lucifer is useless but the rest are very useful. I don't use Pandora that much.

Actually, if you set Nero on auto, his Blue Rose charges while you're fighting with Red Queen.

Lucifer does have one use. With its up+Y attack, it can boost his jumps by a little bit. This is the only way to get a blue orb fragment on level 17, and to get to a few other things. Other than that, I've used Lucifer two or three times.

Pandora is sweet. It's the most powerful gun you've got, and It's definatly multi-purpose.
