When can the starter or any other digimon digivolve to their mega forms?

i'm already a platinum tamer and my digimon still can't digivolve to their mega forms since their exp stops at a certain level and the level isn't even close to the mega form requirements. anyone know when they can hit their mega forms?

To get the level they can go to to go up, you have to degenerate hem a few times, and then relevel them.

yes. when they are degenerated their level capabilities increase. That is why I have a Angewomon who can go up to level 70 something, because I degenerated it all the way down to Salmon and back up a few times.

hey where to get the degenerate item?(return chip if i remember the name correctly)

By beating Skullgreymon in the Chrome Mine. To get digi eggs, you need to match digimon over wifi or wireless communications.

you have to dedigivolve then level up to the max for digivolving every time and keep doing that
