No it would not. what he means by hollow is the inside is empty but the outside is completely surrounded by hard metal (iron, perhaps) so it would make the whole of the thing lighter. It would not break because the hollow part doesn't affect the weapon only the metalic, outside part hits.
Please visit this site http://www.theworldhand.com so as to keep it running. Also try playing this game http://www.darkthrone.com, it might not be the best in the world but it can sure rock.
the size of the sword is big so the metal around would still be heavy from a weapon sized like that.anyway the end movie for guan ping hhe lifted his sword up with one hand(with xing cai).
Sig thanks to Master of lite for a decent sig!great job
Yes Guan Ping is strong, but that type of blade is hollow. Their's this cuttlery store I go to alot, they have weapons from movies, the army, medival times, and others. Remeber that blades tonfa in Hellboy, or Gandalf's staff? Well they have replicas. Anyway I was talking with a dude who works their asking him about stuff and I showed him Guan Ping on the cover of Xtreame Legands, he told me a blade like that needs to be hollow so it can be used well. It's not that hard to do really.
