Let's see, I think a scoreboard is in order here:

Battle of Jie Ting:
Sima Yi: 1 Zhuge Liang: 0

Battle of Chen Cang Castle:
Sima Yi: 2 Zhuge Liang: 0

Battle of Wu Zhang Plains
Sima Yi: 3 Zhuge Liang: 0

I think Sima Yi wins here. =P

That's different.

S_L is talking about the stratagized battles between the two.

Everyone else is talking about a sword(or eh, fan),fight between them.

They're equally matched.

Actually, Anactofgod, as I was the one who brought up the "Sima Yi/Zhuge Liang" contest, and I meant strategy, which I thought I clearly communicated, that means that, atm, we are talking about a "stratagized battle", as you put it. I fairly sure da_mikester was also talking about this.

Still, since you brought it up, I think Sima Yi could pwn Zhuge Liang in a fight, at least on the game. In real life... well, as da_maikester said, they never actually did any proper fighting, so I don't know.

Well, at first, you said that Zhuge Liang is a horrible fighter. And then something about Zhang Liao being a great stratagist (I can agree, but he's more of a great fighter). I didn't really see a complete transition between the fan fights and stratagy fights. The fights between the two on the game were of circumstance. There's no significant difference between the two. I can't tell what da maikster was reffering to, it could have been towards anything.

Eh, fine. Doesn't really matter anyway. But anyway, there are significant differences between the two. Their move sets are actually completely different. Sure, they both fight with fans and use lasers, but there the similarity ends. Out of the two, I think Sima Yi has a better move set, due to his Charge 3 and 4, which both completely pwn Zhuge Liang's.

Oh yeah,By the way,Shad lord,I can't remember which Thread it is in but one of thee threads says by either my self or someone(i can't remember) said that it was very very rare for zhuge liang to lose

And i think i cn remember reading on wiki that zhuge only lost one o the battles and that was from shortage on food,Not because of stratedgy.

Hm... I doubt that. But at the moment I cba to research the point to form a successful counter-argument against you. Besides, to quote Scott Adams, you seem to have a bad brain as well as bad data, so it's really quite pointless. =P

1) Yes. =P
2) Scott Adams is the author of the satirical comic strip Dilbert. He has also written many satirical business books based on Dilbert. If you have not heard of Dilbert, you suck. xP

Isn't this getting rather old now? We've both completely failed to change each other's opinion for various reasons, and it's starting to get a bit boring repeating myeslf over and over again.

Yah,About to say that...Soo....Would you think that if the battle of Fan cheng Never happened,Shu would have beaten Wu and maybe possibly wei?I mean there would be a possibilty.

I kinda' Fing it weird aswell that even though liu bei died of illness,He died avenging his brothers,And died "Along side" His brothers(Sorta)

Well...you get the point if you know what i mean,Like he was cursed,A bit like Zhuge Liang said it was a bad choice,That He almost knew what was going to happen

Actually, Zhuge Liang agreed with the Battle of Yi Ling, historically, although Zhao Yun did disagree, if that's what you're talking about. I don't know what his thoughts were on the Battle of Fancheng.

Liu Bei did kinda die avenging his brothers. It was one of those whole "died of illness due to shame/sadness/other" things. So yeah, you're kinda right.

If the Battle of Fancheng had never happened... well, let's see. Shu would've retained control of Jingzhou. Liu Bei would probably have concentrated on Wei, not Wu. They'd probably have allied with Wu again, so Wei probably would've fallen. Then it would've been just Shu and Wu. I dont know what would've happened then. It's an interesting topic, actually.
