well get a bow then put a fire augumant on it and then it will lose 50 more life worked with me but i got skorms bow in my very first game :P

yes when you attack it before it pounds on the ground. ROLL!!!out of the way.once it is done pounding blast away. keep on doing this. this woorks on all trools.... exept ice trools.mean suckers. yes.

a faster way of killin it is to use a melee wep and hit the rocks it throws at you, works better with speed + physical shield

I just run in, hit him with my sword (obsidian greatsword ) and when he has almost compleatly raised his arms, roll away again. I usually manage to hit him 3 times before he pounds the ground. also, it helps if some random trader distracts him while I fire away at him with my bow.

people actully have trouble with earth trolls?? two hits, even with an iron sword and it's dead, for me at least!!

one thing i have found that works pretty well, is if you grab slow time and just slow down and dodge rocks while shooting at the troll. You can also do the basic same with a melee weapon, just when his arms are about to hit the ground, roll.

if you don't have any spells to help you, do this. as soon as it comes up, roll right up to its feet and slash away. when the troll raises its arms or crouches, roll away. after its either stood up or landed, roll towards it and start slashing again. do it properly and you won't even get hit once.
