Huge DLC announcements by Bethesda

No I said alien magic and that's what I meant. He was talking about getting probed. That's not something that's voluntary or wanted. We were talking about ways to meet the aliens or what would happen when you mean the aliens.

I got Anchorage and the Pitt today, and I'll be trying them out tomorrow. Also, I pre-ordered Red Faction: Guerilla :P

It would certainly be an odd quest line, perhaps you get to try and screw with their technology to bring the ship down or hack the technology to beam yourself back down. If all else fails, you might be able to convince another alien to help you out with a speech check.

I didn't know aliens could do magic. Maybe there will be unicorns too! Anyway now that I've had my fun I think that maybe there could be another captured person aboard and you help each other get out. Thhat would be interesting especially if the person gave you some cool alien tech in return for helping them.

I want Sydney. She was one of my favorite allies. Sadly, I doubt it. You'll probably get stuck with someone annoying, like the preacher for the Church of Atom.

I wouldn't mind maybe somebody like Lucas Simms or at least somebody with a gun!

Sydney has an excellent gun. And while she doesn't heal herself, you can heal her in the middle of battle, quite useful.

Most likely, it'll just be you and your normal followers though, and maybe not even them.

I'm sure those aliens should be able to communicate with you though. If they can build a spacecraft they can build a device to talk to you.

If they captured another character, it would probably be one you haven't met before. I bet you'll get a message to go to the alien crash site and then they abduct you there. I doubt they would just randomly take the first human they saw so if you went there they could blame it on you or something then take you away.

Regarding the armor, it's very likely that they're be only one set. They way I'm expecting Bethesda to do the aliens on the ship is something near the one's from Mars Attacks, only using armor on Earth, and basically nude on their ships. Probably near the end of the DLC, you'll get the chance to loot the armor, and hopefully, (God, I hope so), weapons from the West coast, and a few alien weapons. Possibly from killing the head alien, becoming friends, or letting him probe you.

i bet you could help the aliens capture people like at paradise falls but like a more hi tech aproach or you could blast them back to HELL!

Yeah, there might be an option to either take down the aliens or help them do some evil crap to the Capitol Wasteland.

I got Anchorage and the Pitt today. Playing them now. They could want you to capture people or creatures to do experiments on. If they made the Capital Wasteland a little more depressing that would be nice.

I'm sure they'll give you options to do good or bad like always. And Animefreak that avy is seriously perverted. You do know what that means right?

It looks like the lady is hitting one cheek and moving out the other. I think your looking at it the wrong way or I'm looking at it in a non perverted way. I doubt they would give you only one way to go, good or bad. I liked Anchorage more then the Pitt but Anchorage was a one time in there thing and short. You can go back to the Pitt and look for ingots and make new ammo which is really good. I'm very annoyed currently since I can't find the last ingot even though I've been to every location the guide on the Vault said.

Point Lookout should have a Jason like boss character or something since it's suppose to have a horror film vibe about it.

Did you get the mine cart in the beginning area?

I liked The Pitt MUCH better than Anchorage. Anchorage was alright, and the armory at the end was quite nice, but the Pitt just has a much more Fallout feel, and was a cool location. The quests were fun, the arena area was a lot of fun, and collecting ingots and the steelyard is nerve wracking and frickin' AWESOME.

Looks like a cool location. Should be pretty creepy, but it might not be as much of an immersive location as The Pitt was.

One thing I have wanted/ still want from Fallout is a chance to play what it was like before the bombs. I wanted to see a world before the bombs. The way I'd like to see it is that you start the game where your home and you go around the town and stuff just to show the player what it was like before. Then you go off and fight in the Resources War. The game would still be all actiony and add some extra history to Fallout. All the player sees now is a desolate, lawless land. Going back before would show what it was like instead of seeing the leftovers that are the wasteland.

I got the ones in the mine cart. I have looked at every location but it's just nowhere.

Oh yeah that screenshot, the skeleton is probably either the work of raiders or the evil person who gives the place a horror vibe.

When is the disc that has Broken Steel on it coming out?
