@ Some n00b insulting the Shishkebab: It is by far the best melee weapon and if joined with the Chinese Stealth Armour, it's one of the best weapons in the game.

They had lolcats in the alternate universe?!?!?! kewl... but I don't think they would just let that dude live if they didn't want them eh? they'd headshot him, decapitate him and the bury him.

I like the shishkebab, but i never used it much. I definitly think it should make a comeback along with the deathclaw gauntlet. I also want to see more varitey of constructable weapons, and ideally, the abiliy to craft any non-unique weapon in the game with the right tools and materials.

Well, seeing how guns can kill people from a distance, I never actually used melee or brawl except occasionally for some kicks. But for missions that I was seriously going into, I never used them.

It's always good to have a CQC weapon! I generally carry a combat knife with me but enemies rarely get close enough for me to use it eh? I use it a lot for assassinations and such with the chinese stealth armor but that's about it

I take a shotgun. Much more effective.

And I reserve my Perforator for CSA kills.

Yeah, I used to use it as my primary weapon, I had to tote 3 other almost perfect assault rifles with me too, so I switched to something else.

Perforator looks epic, but Mort had it right, it simply degrades too quickly.

The game practically vommits ARs at you, so maintaining it isn't a problem. And even so, you can always switch to a silenced 10mm pistol.

That doesn't pack the same punch though, and I still have to carry at least one AR and the weight just wasn't worth it, so now I just leave it in my house on display.

Just take Strong Back and Almost Perfect. You'll have plenty of inventory space.

I'm pretty sure i did, but the armour im wearing and the amount of stuff i lug around, I still don't have much.

What, you carry four Super Sledge's wherever you go?

I take the minimum, my armor, the CSA, and then a small selection of weapons, 8 or 9.

That usually leaves me with about 150 pounds free.

I have at max 4....
I take practically anything I find so yeah.

And you do get loads of ARs, but only ealy-to mid in the game. On later levels very few people have them.

yeah, I carry like three wepons and I never seem to have much room. and I'm level thiry, so it's kinda hard to find ARs

I've sorta stockpiled up a load of ARs.
Actually, I've sorta stockpiled everything...........I actually need to clear out my locker every now and again, cause I put so many guns in there, it slows down the game when I try access it O_O

I've got enough weapons and armor in my house to equip a small army, so I'm good on all that stuff. Not to mention that I invested in all the merchants, so I can just have them repair all my crap.

And I take a lot of weapons. Shotgun, Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Lincoln's Repeater, Metal Blaster, and a few other assorted things. I also like to have a few pulse grenades on hand, although my Metal Blaster can even take down Sentry Bots with ease.

I'm pretty much just a 2-Gun army, Vengeance and Slow Burn Flamer.

So it looks like you're NOT playing as a vault dweller, which is an interesting change. I don't know if any of the other spin offs had you as non-vault dwellers, but I like this guy, as he's a courier, sorta like Faith from Mirror's Edge/

I'm pretty sure FO2 had a non-vault-dwelling main character. And from what I've read the hardcore mode seems promising.

Wasn't his settlement like what Vault 13 became? So, wouldn't that make him technically a vault dweller since his roots trace back to the vault?
