The main differences that I see so far apart from graphics (I downloaded the snes one for lulz) is that the DS one have preset characters, while the snes was like I where they had no personalities, you just named them and picked class. I didn't play much further, so apart from that I dunno

It wasn't released for SNES, it was NES
The main difference is the all male cast in the NES version

No id recommend the DS one!!!

Honest its really good! Lots of Jobs to go through and theres a part where you shrink your party and change them to toads..wicked!!

Do it..buy it..you know you want to!

What a mess!
- "Final Fantasy 3" NES was released in Japan only.
- "Final Fantasy 6" SNES was renamed "Final Fantasy 3" in the USA.
- "Final Fantasy 6 Advance" is the remake of the SNES FF3/FF6.
- "Final Fantasy 3" DS is the remake of the Japanese-only FF3 for NES.

"Final Fantasy 6" SNES/GBA and "Final Fantasy 3" NES/DS are two completely different video games!

"Final Fantasy 3" NES/DS features the Job system, like FF5, FF11 and FF10-2.
