You answer is correct.
The damage is the numerical difference between your current HP and your max HP. For example, if you have 3500 max HP, but 3000 current HP, ???? will deal 500 HP damage.

Dont really use them much. Ummm Knights of the Round is the most powerful right? But I think that works with quadra. Im going for Bahamut Zero.
