FF7 Remake

IS there going to be an FF7 remake and if so would it come out for the Xbox 360?

Square Enix confirmed that they are not going to be working on a remake as long as the original version can still be run on current consoles. Anyway, they are working on enough new games right now anyway:

Final Fantasy Versus XIII
Final Fantasy Agito XIII
Possibly another 3 Fabula Nova Crystallis games
Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings
Final Fantasy Tactics: War Of The Lions

Dissidia: Final Fantasy
Final Fantasy IV (DS)
Kingdom Hearts III
Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core

The Last Remnant

...so it doesn't look like they'll consider taking on another project

The Video squareEnix made for Final fantasy 7 was just a scoop of what it would look like on the PS3 platform. i love the video and wish they would do it.

Ah ok I'm a bit disappointed but FF4 was also one of my favourite titles so if they remake that for the DS I'll be happy

The visuals look really good. Cant wait to see the four elementals and Golbez.

When they release Final Fantasy Agito XIII, they'd better not skip the UK, or else...

I just cant see any of those games being nearly as good as an FF7 remake

I agree. But I cant see a remake being as good as the original. They'll probably alter the hell out of it

even if they did make ff7 remake, they sould atlease keep the story the same.

Well the graphics would improve the game a hell of a lot plus maybe a few extras such as mini games or another Weapon

Well, with the release date has yet to be announced yet, you can still pray hard that it will not skip the uk..

If Final Fnatasy VII ever does get remade, it most certainly won't be out on any Microsoft consoles. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure that Square-Enix has no connections with Microsoft whatsoever.

If they remake Final Fantasy VII I'm sure they'll keep the story and quest the same. I can only see Square-Enix re-hauling the graphics and possibly adding a few new side-quests and weapons/materia (a few weapons and materia were actually cancelled out of the original, such as the 'Booster' and 'Prevent Floor Damage' materias, in addition to a secret weapon for Cloud [thanks to the FF7 Citadel for this information, which I came across when reading about the Ancients' Cave mystery]). Perhaps seperate difficulty levels too? The only way the game could be made easier/harder was changing the battle time bar speed.

perhaps they sould put unlockable features to the gameplay, like for instance, if you beat the game at hard mode 3 or more times without a gameover, you get a powerful materia, or a gold chocobo when you start a new game. or damage on you is half in hard mode. or you unlock master mode where its harder then hard mode, kinda like pro rpg challange.

Yeh that would be cool - and perhaps a feature in which you could unlock extra characters...

Look. If Square-Enix decided to remake Final Fantasy VII(After Crisis Core), They are actually risking their consumers trust from all over the world, and yes I agree it could be interesting, But if the storyline suck, Then Square-Enix would lose alot of money, and not only that, They lose the consumers trust.
