FF7 and the PS3 Disscussion

Hey, its me again..and for those who dont know me well...youll get to it some time soon.
AAaanyway, the topic is..


Final fantasy 7 the remake and the ps3, first of all you should know square-enix had some mind changes in the game, some new stuff I found, though still just rumors that Final Fantasy 7 could have a chance of coming for the ps3 though you all know it was just a demo, but the reason they did was to see the reaction on people so even though you know this, for those who want a PS3 for ff7 well think twice after doing so cause you might cause a wittle mistake...just like I did.

Anyway i felt like i had to tell you guys,
DO NOT SELL YOURE PS2 TO GET A PS3, trust me, why? well ps3 cannot read any ps2 games unless you hacked some microchip to the ps3 [which I reccomend not to do so], anyway im writing to much, ask me some question about stuff you want to know about either PS3 and not only FF7,but the other FF as well. why well I got the PS3 and I kind of made a mistake so anything you want to know just "talk it out here".

I thought it was only the 40GB that cant play PlayStation 2 games, while the rest can play games made in the past?

Yeah, thats about it some people think its better to get the PS3 with 40 GB but dont, it cant play ps2 games. So, 100$ more is worth it. Thats the mistake I did i sold my ps2 and I got a PS3 with 40GB and im ****** off.

Oh you mean something tht says it, well no but Ill look for it, but if I could put a video of myself showing the ps3 well I could do it thing is...I dont have a camera anyway. Anything you want like the difference between the ps3 with 40gb the ps3 with 60gb or the one with 80gb just ask.

Cause SE confirmed years ago that the redone intro was just a tech demo. I've seen nothing about a remake other than false rumours

Thats right! Just false rumors but if you look on stuff like..um sorry i think it was gamepro or ..wikipedia lol anyway.

I red once that after the tech demo, square-enix left the decision on stanby so, its not sure but dont cry out-THERE ISNT GOING TO BE A FF7 REMAKE cause you might be wrong...So ff7 remake is just a time to believe situacion. You know unless square-enix puts "there is no ff7 remake for ps3" on the square-enix announce boards then there just playing "Chocobo thinking LOL" you know how unresponsible square-enix is.

But anyway I think you should go to
www.square-enix.com and see what you can find...

There is Dirge Of Cerberus: Lost Episode for mobile phones that was released last year. Noting else from DoC other than that

Hey guess what I got really good news about the ff7 remake
check this out..

It's hard to figure out what's worse: Pre-ordering Final Fantasy VII for the PS3 from Best Buy or that Best Buy's ship date for the unannounced, un-talked about, but-still-totally-likely project is December 1 of this year.
So many holes to poke in this mess, where to begin? Square Enix will adamantly deny the existence of the long-rumored/fantasized about Final Fantasy VII remake for Sony's PS3, but apparently the title did slip into a release calendar at Best Buy. However, placeholder dates in retail release calendars are usually the first of the month, and anyone expecting a totally, completely, 100% uannounced, unconfirmed Final Fantasy VII remake in the launch "window" for the PS3 is probably on heavy medication.

However, if Square Enix is in fact prepping a Final Fantasy VII remake what better place to lift the veil than at Japan's version of E3, the Tokyo Game Show.

The demo depicted the introduction sequence to the original Final Fantasy VII, but was titled "Technical Demo for PS3." This means that it may or may not turn into an actual game. The PS3 can finally deliver Final Fantasy the way it gamers always wanted it to be delivered -- looking just like the CG cutscenes.

The demonstration was a complete recreation of the beginning to Final Fantasy VII using some "awesome, awesome" graphics (according to our staff on the scene). It's an exact duplicate of the original game. It could even be a full recreation.

UPDATE: We received word as soon as our boys made it back that Square Enix wanted to make it clear that there will not be a Final Fantasy VII remake for PS3. Repeat, there will not be a remake. But, there will be a new Final Fantasy game for the system somewhere down the line. We'll have info on that as it happens.

We all like the original FF7 don't we. We have all seen square making remakes on all of the classics, they have even done 6, so now it is time for them to remake 7. They should spruce up the graphics, add all those things they took out, and to give it more of a plot.

Below are signatures of people who wish for this title to be released either on Playstation, or Playstation 2 (either would be fine), and confirm that if this title was released, they would be interested in purchasing it.

We hope this is successful in proving that there is indeed a great demand for this title, across a wide range of countries, and hope to hear from you regarding this topic in the near future.


In other these are fans, not demanding, begging for a remake asking square-enix and making a petition so that they work on a remake,so the reason is square-enix is too busy making game for the future,
FF13, FF13 versus, FF dissidia, FF13 agito. So maybe this is why they wont make a remake cause what other reason could they have.

Yeah, but SE are busy with the anniversary games, the FNC games, Last Remnant, SO 4, DQ 9, SO re-releases, and a lot of others. So it doesn't look likely unfortunately

Yeah.Thats right...thats the only reason there is.But you know,why would they do that knowing they would **** off alot of fans,I know that they did it to show the graphics and technology bla bla bla but still

Yeah. FF origins was completely redone when you compare it to the original Famicom versions (the original FF I looked like this). Star Ocean 1 and 2 will be released for DS, in the style of SO2.

Also, a 3D version of FF IV for the DS was released in Japan on the 20th. I've been playing the Anthology version recently

so how come the like made remake for FF4 and not ff7 which is better,they shoulda have though of their winnings more ealier,however they wouldnt have time for the remake, so if they tried it now, they do shittyshat game with multiple glithces and unknown scenery in the game LOL anyway...i just hope in some more time like around 2009 they change their minds.

Because its part of the FF anniversary series. So they focus on the older games of the series.


Anyway, what's "better" is a matter of opinion. There are a lot of people out there who prefer FF IV to VII

Well anyway theres not much to say about that right now.There only a little hope, and some desperate FF fans who want the remake...I guess thats about it.
