Favourite team

Mine did a fair bit of damage on lvl 100. I stopped using it after I got 2x/4x cut :P

My fav team is;

Cloud, Vincent and Red XIII

Weird that you included Vincent in there as he is generally quite weak. Yuffie is a great choice once she has her ultimate weapon. Id say at the mo it is Cloud, Yuffie and Cid.

Vincent is overrated. The strength of Death Penalty can skyrocket if you know how to do it, but I still don't think his limit breaks are very useful.

I still use Cloud, Barret and Cid. Yuffie is good but her level 4 limit break can't cause more than 9999 damage to any enemy as it only hits once. I use her occasionally, though.

I usually used Cloud, Red XIII and Tifa.

I like to use Yuffie for stat building more than anything.

Hmm on disc 1 for me its: Cloud, Aerith and Yuffie/Red (Red until I get Yuffie). Aerith's limit breaks rock, I never need to visit an inn with her around :P

Disc 2 - 3: Cloud, Yuffie and whoever needs more levelling up (excl Cait Sith).. though I do prefer to use Cid as my third.

Oh yeah...Aerith had wicked limits for those who like support characters.

Doesn't GameShark Sephiroth still run on AI, like in Cloud's flashback at Kalm Inn? It's what I've always heard, anyway.

Changed my opinion about Tifa. Her chain limit breaks come in very handy. Doesn't find a place in the Cloud, Barret, Cid team in terms of power, but still a great unit.

Changed my mind about Vincent. Trained Vincent so hard he does the overflow damage.

My biggest gripe with Tifa is the fact that her strength of Premium Heart is linked to her Limit Meter. After I use her Limit, she can't do any decent damage until she gets hit somewhat.

But then again, you get it at a point in the game where you're not going to be doing a great deal more than heading down into the Northern Cave to fight Sephiroth. Plenty of enemies down there deal at least decent damage.

As for the Emerald Weapon and Ruby Weapon, well you're not going to be doing much regular attacking against them, unless you are extremely hardcore and have a lot of time to kill.

Yeah, FFVII has lost it's charm since I got everything. Beat Sephiroth a million times, both weapons are gone, and battle arena is a joke (Cloud, Omnislash, Mime 7 times, win). Gold Saucer and Sephiroth is all that's left to do.

Didnt rate Yuffie much until she got her ultimate weapon (?!) then she was just a butt kicker all the way. Vincent never rated much.

I still find the Golden Saucer a bit of a challenge but that maybe more to do with patience than much else.

Perhaps. Gold Saucer is the only fun place (snowboarding ftw, took me forever to get the cactuar ghost). I remember when I was in battle arena, I was frogged and slowed and asleep, and the opponent could no longer attack. I hated that.

The Gold Saucer gets dull after a while. The Speed Square became dull after I hit 6000 points, I never had much patience for the Battle Arena, Chocobo Racing quickly gets boring and I've always thought the Wonder Square games were novelty.

I don't play through the game much these days. Maybe once a year, if that. One thing's certain, though, and that is I'm never using Cait Sith in my main team again.

Just like to say that cait sith is actually a good fighter and i see that people say that there levels are at 100 and after doing all the work many times i know that levels only go up to 99 in FF7.

Urgh, I really dont like Cait Sith. It just looks so silly to see him in the party.
