I think Square are too busy working on the Fabula Nova Crystallis: Final Fantasy XIII series to consider this. Sorry but it doesnt look like they'll do this anytime soon

It would be extremely awesome if they released a Final Fantasy VIII Movie and I doubt it will happen, but, Square-Enix have done some strange things...

I think adding a sequel will ruin it. The story already happened in FF VIII. a sequel is not needed

Theres a 100% chance that they wont remake it no offence because SQUARE-ENIX have better things to do than to remake Final Fantasy VIII.
They are now concentrating on Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core, Final Fantasy XIII for PlayStation3 and PlayStation Portable.

I wouldnt count on it. A movie would be a bad idea IMO anyway
