What level do i have to be to beat the dark ifrit

You should be able to beat Ifrit around lvl 20, remember it's weak against ice so you should have one of your characters as a black mage.

be at least lvl 20 have a dark knight use dark sky/black mage use blizzarga/warrior use ice brand and maybe use a few hi-potions and you should easly defeat ifrit.
