By the way when Sin looks vaguely like a dragonfly it will build up it's overdrive to use that attack and if he uses it, it's game over no matter what. Yes, even if you have an Aeon out. I know, it's happened to me before.

hit the magic disabler thingy with wakkas ball then hit the big machina with lulus magic. after 3 hits the magic disabler will come back but will disable the machinas mana attack too (which is a good thing) rinse and repeat

Yeah, if you have Wakka on the field when it cancels out it's Mana Beam you're treated to a vaguely funny phrase.
